In one minute
Dating apps made it easy to find profiles. They did not make it easier to know a person. Most people judge on photos and a short bio, then trade messages for days before learning whether there is any chemistry.
XMeeta changes the starting point. Two people who both want to meet are connected on a live audio or video conversation. They hear each other's voice, see each other's reactions, and then decide whether to continue. Messaging comes after a mutual interest, not before it.

1. The problem
Meeting people online is easy. Connecting with them is not.
- A match does not guarantee a conversation, and a conversation does not guarantee a connection.
- First impressions are formed from photos and a few lines of text, so people spend a lot of time browsing without getting a real sense of who is behind the screen.
- Texting is where many connections fade, before the two people have heard each other speak.
People do want to meet each other. The process of discovering someone is simply disconnected from the experience of getting to know them.
2. The idea
What if people could interact first, and decide afterwards?
A real conversation shows things a profile cannot: tone, humour, ease, and how someone reacts. XMeeta puts that moment at the start of the journey, not as an optional extra bolted onto a conventional dating app.
Our goal is to make meeting people online feel more direct, personal, and natural.
3. How it works

Two ways in. Users can jump straight into Live Match, or browse profiles the usual way and request a live interaction with someone. XMeeta adds a new way to start a connection without replacing the normal dating experience.

5. Trust, safety and control
Live video raises the stakes on safety, so this is a core design area and not an afterthought.
Principles
- Users stay in control of who they talk to and when a conversation ends.
- Reporting, blocking, and moderation are part of the product, not add-ons.
- Verification and privacy protections are developed and tested as the platform grows.
Still to be built and tested: moderation systems, age and identity verification, and privacy controls. These are on the roadmap and are not claimed as finished.
6. What we have learned so far

- Conversations helped us understand what people expect and what frustrates them.
- Testing gave us a direct read on interest in the experience.
- The clearest signal from testing was interest in the live-meeting experience. That is why real-time interaction is central to XMeeta.
These are early signals, not proof of product-market fit. The next questions are whether users come back, form real connections, and recommend the product to others.
7. Where we are now
The prototype is complete, and we are pitching XMeeta to investors. It proves the core idea works. A great deal still needs to be built before it is a product people can rely on.

8. Business model
A free core experience with premium features layered on top. Pricing and paid features are not final and will be validated with real usage before launch.

The next evolution of online dating should focus on the experience of meeting someone, not on the process of finding a profile.
The ambition is global: a new model for dating and social discovery that can reach users across markets.
